Cincoze monitors in semiconductor manufacturing

Cincoze monitors in semiconductor manufacturing

Semiconductor manufacturing places extremely high demands on equipment stability, process efficiency, and long-term operation. The end customer for this application is a well-known semiconductor process equipment solutions provider in Northeast Asia, whose products cover front-end wafer fabrication equipment. Plasma dry stripping — the removal of photoresist — is the company's most representative core application, and it has long held a leading position in global market share.

Plasma dry strip equipment is a critical tool in front-end semiconductor manufacturing, used to remove photoresist and residue from wafers after lithography and etching. To support stable processes, high wafer throughput, low cost of ownership, and long-term operation, the process monitoring display built into this equipment must consistently and reliably present process data and results, helping operators track equipment status in real time and ensuring production efficiency and process quality. This project is expected to deploy over one hundred 17″ Cincoze industrial monitors (CV-117R/M1101) annually, integrated into the dry strip equipment as the on-machine process monitoring display.

Product Requirements

17″ 5:4 Touch Display Requirements

The customer specified a 17″ 5:4 touch monitor for integration into plasma dry strip equipment with a fixed mechanical footprint and predefined operator interface layout. Clear visuals and intuitive touch operation support long-term display of equipment status, process parameters, and processing results, helping operators track process conditions in real time, adjust parameters accordingly, improve monitoring efficiency, and reduce the risk of misreading data.

Multiple Display Signal Inputs

The touch monitor must support multiple display signal inputs, including HDMI and DisplayPort, to receive video feeds from different equipment controllers and clearly present equipment status, process parameters, and processing results. This also reduces the need for additional adapters, helping the customer simplify equipment integration and improve deployment efficiency.

High Reliability and EMC Protection

Because plasma dry strip equipment can be surrounded by sources of electromagnetic interference such as RF power supplies, motors, and controllers, the touch monitor integrated into the semiconductor equipment must offer strong EMC protection and interference immunity. This ensures stable, reliable display and touch performance, reduces the risk of unexpected downtime, and improves overall equipment availability.
